We've been letting Kendall "help" with bathtime. She gets the washcloth wet and rinses him off. She just loves it. It's nice that she wants to help. Sometimes it takes 18 TIMES longer to do the task - but it's just so cute to watch her mommy him. After his bath that night he was just wide awake and interested in talking to us. He would not take his eyes off Rob. I kept saying his name and making noise and he would not look at me! :( As you can see from our picture on the couch - Kendall is normally AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to me (us). B is also quite the trooper while he's being carted all over the place when we bring Kendall to school, pick her up, take her to dance, pick her up. Thankfully for me - he rides in the car MUCH BETTER than his sister did. She screamed about 90% of the time in the car. He only cries if he drops his pacifier out ~ which I've gotten pretty good at finding in the car seat while still driving. I did get a clip so now it's easier to find.

4 year check up

Kendall did great at her four year check up today. She is still in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. That was not surprising to me at all. She answered all their questions correctly and was very cooperative ~ even when she had to pee in a cup (that was more challenging for me as I had to "catch" it). Good thing she had seen me do it while I was pregnant. She had to get four shots and was a trooper for all of them - even the MMR which really stings. She cried for that one and wanted a hug but the second she saw that they had a SCOOBY DOO sticker in the box for her - she forgot all about all the pokes. It must have tired her out because we came home and took some Tylenol and turned on Scooby for her and she cuddled up next to Rob and before we knew it she was sleeping.

Kendall's new glasses

Thanks to a vision screening at Kendall's preschool - we took her to the eye doctor because she did not pass the screening. She has bad vision and astigmatism so she will more than likely wear glasses for a long long time! So far she is fine with wearing them so that is awesome! The brand of glasses that she picked is PEZ - the case they gave her is shaped like the PEZ candy - what a cute idea!!!
