rollin rollin rollin.....

Rob put Brenym to bed tonight and he was still awake....and he rolled over from his tummy to his back!!!!! He also was giggling today and his giggle is hilarious. He is a growing boy because the last two days he has eaten almost every two hours - I was getting nervous that I wouldn't be able to keep up with him YEAH RIGHT - I feel like the dairy queen of the house!!! And if he eats like his sister, Rob and I will need to take out a loan to feed these beasts. Last thursday Kendall ate two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, that's right folks, TWO. And with two pieces of bread each - so if both of them had two we are talking 8 pieces of bread. That just blows my mind because when I was younger I remember getting full with just one piece of bread folded over. C R A Z Y. Kendall just seems to never be full lately. She does still love all the healthy foods so I'm okay with it. If she asks for fruit snacks and I say how about an apple or a banana she says, "okay I'll have an apple."
Kendall and I went to the dentist last week and she had no cavities this time again. She even sat in the chair herself.
With this nice weather (minus a few snowy days) we have really been enjoying getting outside. Kendall played in her sandbox and just loved it. Although it was a crazy house for awhile with a 4 year old and an infant - we have a little routine now and I couldn't be happier that I'm able to be home with my children. I still have days where I need adult interaction - but thankfully Rob enjoys talking when he gets home and we have the internet so I'm not totally cut off from the outside world! And the girls I used to work with meet me for lunch occasionally and that is AWESOME cuz I'm sure meeting me with my kids is not their ideal "break". :)
Rob turned 40 on Sunday - geez he's old! Anyhow - we FINALLY found a bottle that Brenym would take - thanks to Angie - so grandma and grandpa watched both kids so we could have dinner with no kids. It was awesome. P.F. Chang's in Lansing - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Brenym had some issues with the previous bottle and I had to leave bowling early last week because he was just screaming for Rob and my mom had him the Saturday before that for four hours and he wouldn't take a bottle for her either. Thankfully, the MAM bottle works - for now anyways!

Momma's boy

Oh little B how I love you.....and it's evident that you love me also since you are REFUSING to take a bottle from ANYBODY.....makes it kinda hard for mommy to go places without you......and I think you're making daddy kinda sad.......

Kendall's new chair

Kendall has been very independent lately. There are some things she still wants us to do for her - like wipe her, but for the most part she tries to do things herself. She can zip her coat all by herself and just this week I realized that she can turn the TV on and find one of "her" channels. Unfortunately, Brenym is not a great sleeper so I am pretty exhausted in the morning. Yesterday I got up to go to the bathroom and Kendall had managed to get her show going and found herself her own little rocking chair.....
She asked me to carry her like we do for the baby so I picked her up and started carrying her. I think she laughed so hard that she stopped breathing at one point.
We have enjoyed getting outside these past few days. There is a park we can walk to in about ten minutes and Kendall just loves riding her bike there and playing. B normally falls asleep on the walk to the park. The first few minutes of the walk though, he is moving his head all around taking all the new sites in.
We are still working on his night time sleep habits. He really likes to just be held while he's sleeping. Last night he woke up around 1020 and started crying and we usually keep putting his pacifier in and about an hour later he falls asleep again. Maybe I was crabby last night.....but I decided at 1050 that he was just gonna have to cry. And MAN does he have some lungs and some anger in there. But at 1103, with no pacifier, he stopped crying/screaming and slept until 6 this morning. I am hoping that this will continue.....the sleeping - not the crying that is.
We had some pictures of Brenym taken and some family pictures last night. I can't WAIT to see!!!! Brenym of course let us get a few pictures in and then decided that he should EAT.....I sure hope he eats as good as his sister. Besides broccoli - Kendall eats anything we give her. We met Michele for lunch on Monday at Adobe and for those of you who have eaten their hot sauce - it's hot. Kendall devoured an entire container of it with her chips. I can't even handle that much!!!!!
Ooooh I hope you don't mind Jennifer if I share the two pictures you put on your blog!!!! I couldn't resist~~~
